Since 2018, the Mangrove Foundation of India has restored degraded wetlands around Pulicat Lake and across Pan-India — combining ecological restoration with women's empowerment, child education, and climate-resilient livelihoods.

Scaling community-led mangrove and agroforestry restoration state by state, with Satyabhama Research and Technology University. Carbon credit projects (P. ID: 3560 & 3572) registered in South India since 2018.
