A native of Jameelabad near Pulicat Lake, Meerasa has been involved in its protection and conservation through holistic developmental strategies for nearly three decades. Recognized as National Wetland Champion 2022 and State Green Champion 2023 by the Tamil Nadu government. Member, District Coastal Zone Management Authority, Tiruvallur (2024–2027). Formed and managed 450 SHGs across 1,000 villages with 17 panchayats through the Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation project for CReNIEO – Pulicat since 2000.

An experienced entrepreneur who has plied his trade at a national and international level. An active philanthropist supporting numerous social causes through his association with the Rotary Club. Passionate about encouraging and empowering Indian youth through career guidance, public speaking, and skill development workshops.

A former scientist and National-level Young Scientist Awardee with 10+ years of research experience in zoology, with many published papers, review articles and books in peer-reviewed journals. Currently an Instructional Coach and Education Mentor, with a vision to empower educators and bring positive change through collaboration and interdisciplinary projects.

An experienced social worker with several key roles in community development and governance. President of Navodaya Yuvajana Seva Sangam; served as Mediator for an SLF Netherlands disability project, and as a Health Worker Committee Member in the Family Planning Project. Served on the Revenue Department's Assignment Committee and the SC/ST District Vigilance & Monitoring Committee. Recognized with the District Youth Award from Nehru Yuva Kendra.

A senior social worker with over 32 years of experience in community development in Andhra Pradesh, working closely with coastal, rural, and marginalized communities on participatory planning and grassroots leadership. Her work emphasizes empowerment of women, youth, and vulnerable groups, and supports natural resource management and climate resilience.

Sheik Abdul Aziz

An educationist and linguist specializing in Tamil and Arabic. Has published several books for children and his community, and used his linguistic skills to provide commentary on television and online channels. Regularly participates in charitable activities cutting across religious and social barriers.
