Lake Restoration in Ottanthangal Lake, Sriperumbudur (2024)

A milestone project implemented in association with Yamaha India Motors Pvt Ltd, raising the ground water level and benefiting local animal and bird life. More than 40 species of flora and fauna have been identified through biodiversity study.

Lake Restoration in Vadagal Lake, Sriperumbudur (2025)

Successfully completed development of a 15-acre lake, with nearly 500 saplings planted around it. The area has been developed into an eco-park, improving the local ecosystem and creating a natural space for community use and recreation.

Mangrove Restoration in Pulicat

MFI has planted nearly 250,000 saplings across 9 species of mangrove in Thangal, Karungali, Kalanji, Abrahampuram and Buckingham Canal areas during 2022–2025, guarded 24 hours by staff and protecting more than 1,000 hectares of mangrove forest through community participation. Seeds from Rhizophora mucronata, Avicennia marina and other species are collected from the beach, grown in the nursery, and planted after 3 months.
